Sent this product back, bought two, two diff cars, both produced poor sound quality on all frequencies tried, always annoying crackle. Best fitting a aux wire via glove box than buy one of these!

i really wanted this to work - but sadly i have to join the one star section. Tried it in two cars and in both of them it failed to hold a signal and the sound quality was dreadful, worse than the worse FM radio reception and far far worse than a hard wired connection. Smartscan is a joke and actually chose radio 1 as a suitable frequency!! I am at loss to understand how the customer experiences can be so varied - but i returned this for a refund after trying every which way to make it work. Thanks to Amazon for being a great company - but hey Griffin - there is more work to do on this.

This fm transmitter is very nice to look at and the features are great on paper but I never use it because she simply can't over power the radio. I have owned/used several transmitters in my time & this has to be the worst transmitter I have ever used. The scan feature is awful & when driving long distance (I do a lot of driving) I am forced to continuously changed frequencies (every 10 minutes). This is incredibly frustrating & dangerous. I am going to buy a head unit with input now as I have had enough.
Would have rated 1 star if it wasn't so aesthetically pleasing & had some nice features that did work.

This product had absolutely dreadful sound quality. I repacked the item and then tried to get in touch with the vendor. I live in Ireland and was concerned about how returns would work. I went through the Amazon returns interface and sent a direct response to the vendor - no response. I then sent a follow up message, again no response. I got a vendor feedback mail from Amazon, told them about my experience and again, no response. Now I have the opportunity to comment about my experience...wonder if this will get a response???

I found this one easy to use and set up, however there is some static which can get annoying but it doesn't happen once i get it situated.
