Great piece of kit! Plugged in, took about an hour to charge up in the car, pull out battery and shove in your iPhone and after about 5 mins it tops up your charge by about 20/25%. Simple, easy and does exactly what it says on the tin!

I have used this a few times and its been great. To get a battery as well as a car charger is very useful. Annoyingly though there isn't another usb cable supplied so you have to use the one that came with your phone.
The capacity of an iPhone 3G battery is 1150mAh, and the capacity of the backup battery is 500mAh. This means you will get a reasonable amount of charge. If you have been charging your phone in the car you can use the battery to take it upto 100%.

This is a great product, can charge both the iphone/ipod and the battery at the same time, battery provides sufficient eneergy for the phone
