Protects my iPhone adequately. A day or so after fitting it, I noticed my external volume button was missing - whether it was as a result of fitting this cover or not is hard to say...

This is a well made, good looking iPhone case, however it is quite bulky and adds a certain amount of extra size and weight to the phone.
The reason for the single star and why I am very upset with the company for not warning me is the case scratches the back of your iPhone!
I have had to put a screen protector on the back to stop the scratching and will be buying a new case to replace this one!
The back of my phone is now covered in scratches and it is all down to me using this case!

Considering the iPhone is such an expensive investment, you not only want a protective case that looks good but really performs well in the `crash and bang' department. I bought this case specifically because I like the leather idea, but upon arrival found it was of very good construction. Thick and solid plastic, nice trim and high grade leather to complete a fairly well presented item.
The only let down to this case is that the chrome trim (as seen) is actually the plastic mould, just chrome plated. To be fair, considering the price it's not going to be like the chrome trim around the windscreen of a jag, but to its credit it's quite resilient.
I've had the case for about a year now and although I'm a fairly heavy iPhone user, the case has minimal wear and looks in remarkably good shape. As a result I bought my wife the same case, just a different leather pattern and she's chuffed with it.
