I recently purchased this armband for use whilst using the nike+ workout feature. I went out for the first time, walked for about 20 seconds and the music faded out and stopped...
On inspection I realised that the way this armband is built, when you tie it to your arm and the case bends slightly, all the force is exerted in the exact spot where the external "Volume down" button is... so you can turn the volume back up, but as soon as you put the armband on again the volume gets turned right down.
This makes it utterly useless as anything other than an iPod touch handbag!
In short, don't buy it, you won't hear any music!
