1 out of 5 stars Poor sound quality   June 16, 2008

I bought this based on the positive reviews found on the web and whilst it is simple enough to use and cheap I found the sound quality to be extremely poor. I have tried it on various frequencies and in a number of different vehicles to see if that made a difference and whilst some were better than others I would describe the quality as mediocre at best. If you want something small and quick to use then ok but if you want something that sounds half decent take my advice and look elsewhere

1 out of 5 stars Awful Product   May 22, 2008
Mr. Philip G. Caldwell
This is a terrible device:
1)cuts out after 10 minutes of playing music, then you have to retune it (if it decides to come back on!!!!!)
2)cheap and plasticky exterior
3)fiddley buttons
4)poor sound quality
5)display is barely visible
If i could give this product 0 stars i would, i dont have a good word to say about it, needless to say i sent it back.DO NOT BUY THIS!!!!!!

5 out of 5 stars An inexpensive alternative to hard wiring   April 25, 2008
Robert V. Corke (England)
I approached this product with a certain trepidation, I had heard the stories of problems and issues with FM Transmitters and expected much the same from this. What a pleasant surprise. It arrived, I cut the blister pack open, read the brief instructions on the back of the pack, hooked it up, selected a radio station on the car stereo, matched the frequency on the iTrip and "fired her" up. My anticipation of being underwhelmed evaporated quickly and my respect is increasing the more I use it.
Is it easy to use?.......I have not had to fiddle with it since outset so I must answer Yes.
Is the soung quality good?.......It is, it may not be the last word in high fidelity but is more than adequate in the car.
Have I had any issues with operation?.........none at all. Enough said.

5 out of 5 stars Fantastic buy!   April 7, 2008
Mr. J. Brookland (Herefordshire, England)
Cant grumble at all!! posted order and 4 days later it arrives at my door. the itrip itself, so far has been excellent, works well and is simple and effective. i am almost 17 years old and am shorty going to commence driving after buying myself a car, and i wanted a small gadget which would play my ipod whilst driving. the itrip is excellent as it is small, no wires, simple to use and gives a great sound on the radio!! lovely job!

1 out of 5 stars Great at first but stops working after a week or two   March 11, 2008

I bought an i trip to listen to my ipod in the car. i was really pleased with it at first it worked great. But after a week or 2 i soon changed my mind. It now takes ages to get it to power up plugging it in unplugging it pausing and plaing track. then it will work for 5 mins then turn off again and you have to go through the whole process again. its infuriating. I WOULDN'T BUY THIS PRODUCT. IN MY OPINION IT'S A WASTE OF MONEY.
