Product Description
Now compatible with all full sized dock connector iPods, including the new iPod Video and iPod Nano, Griffin have again produced an excellent FM Transmitter! It sports a bright, backlit LCD display - you'll always know exactly which station you're tuned to. Setting the frequency is easy with the convenient switch on the side of the iTrip. But you won't have to adjust the settings very often -- iTrip remembers its settings for convenience. The iTrip's selectable LX or DX modes of broadcasting allows you to adjust for the absolute best possible audio under real-world conditions. Even in large cities with lots of radio stations crowding the dial, iTrip's DX Mode delivers a clear, punchy signal iTrip Dock Connector requires no batteries, drawing its power directly from the iPod, so there's never a power issue to silence your tunes.

4 out of 5 stars iPod Transmitter   March 11, 2010

This was recommended to me, so I bought it. Its a great product but I don't use it very often,. not as often as I should. I wish I had bought one with an external power source, but that was my fault.

2 out of 5 stars Not very good really   December 15, 2009

Again, this item looks really good visually, is a good price and is really handy due to it's size and easiness to use. However, the sound quality is poor and it can't move to another frequency dispite my many atempts. Overall, it's not terrible but it's not very good either. I'm going to have to buy my third FM Transmitter to replace it, as I can't find one that works consitantly!

4 out of 5 stars It does what is says on the tin!   December 8, 2009

This is a good product, but I (like others) have found that it can be susceptible to interference which is annoying. I also find that sometimes it seems to lose the signal completely which is REALLY annoying when you're in the car on your own and driving.

I have to reset my frequency each time I use it as it doesn't seem to remember where I want it to be.

Good cheap product, decent sound, just a couple of niggles really.

5 out of 5 stars Great little gadget   November 15, 2009

This is a very good little piece of kit that has completely changed my life. It is the Lennon to my iPod's McCartney.
I can't use it in London though - there are just too many stations fighting for the airwaves.
There only real design flaw is that it keeps on falling out of the iPod's socket - it doesn't "click" into place like the charger does. I can't see any other reviewers complaining about this so it's possible that my model was faulty from the start (I've had it about three years and it's still going strong).
